The Oracle of Shadows is a D&D fifth-edition compatible one-shot adventure designed for a party of four to six level-ten characters. It features read-a-loud text for ease of use and maps designed for use on virtual tabletops, such as Roll20 and Fantasy Grounds.
Adventure Overview
The characters recently escaped from an incursion into a lich’s tomb, barely getting away with their lives. However, shortly thereafter, they discovered that a powerful curse had been placed on them all, slowly causing them to slip into the realm of undeath.
Unable to find a cure anywhere else, they have decided to seek out the Oracle of Shadows, a powerful being said to be able to read the future from one’s shadow. They believe that the oracle will be able to read their futures and see what might cure them. It is rumored, though, that a series of trials must be passed by any who would seek an audience with the oracle.
And thus, the characters find themselves trudging through the Croaking Swamp toward Mount Shadow where the Oracle is said to dwell.
